near Mount Aconcagua "the roof of the Southern hemisphere", for three Days of Spiritual Inspiration and for the inauguration of the Punta de Vacas Park and Center of Siloist Studies, on May 3, 4 and 5. The 3rd and 4th of May were filled with pilgrimages, ceremonies and celebrations of the best qualities of the Human Being. On May 5th people gathered to hear the words of Silo, the spiritual guide and founder of Silo's Message. Almost 40 years ago, gave his first public speech at the same spot before a crowd of a few hundred youths from the South American continent. This was the first of many historical events to come for people in search of renewal and transformation throughout the world. A new spirituality is being born in the heart of the good people on this planet! |

SILO'S COMMENTS Center of Studies, Punta de Vacas Park – May 2008 (excerpt) Question: Silo, sometimes when I try to express your Message I find that it’s hard -it doesn’t come out right, I don’t feel I communicate it very well. Silo: You can’t easily communicate the Message, because the Message is above all… an experience. So, explaining an experience… How would you explain to someone a sweet taste? How would you explain to someone who’s never seen a color, for example, the color red? At times in the countryside, like here… I see a sunset. And in this sunset I feel like I comprehend everything – for a brief moment. These types of experiences are given in a sort of a different space, in a different level. Experiences of love, for instance, experiences in dreams, these are experiences we have all had and that we don’t normally take into account, and we forget -these are experiences that are very revealing and we go into with profundity. Question: People always see these things in a religious framework; whether you believe in god or not... Silo: Perfect, it’s fine with me whether you are a believer or not. It’s all the same to me. But, it’s not the point in order to leave the world of suffering, and to create a new kind of human being. It’s not the point. That’s what I say to people who believe. Fine, believe. And, If they say they don’t believe, then don’t believe. The subject is something different. Let’s make it simpler. Let’s make it easier. God is something uncertain. And from there you go back to yourself making your changes, doing your things. Q: What do you say to him? How do I begin? How can I begin to surpass my suffering? Where? When? What’s the first step? Silo: I don’t say anything to him... it is he who comes to ask. This is important. We explain our things because there are people who are interested. And there are many people who are interested in these things. And it seems to me there are each time more people… Q: There are those who say that you are a man just like any other. There are others who say you are a prophet… Silo: And what does it matter what I am? I have come across many things like that, yes. It does not worry me, and it does not deform the Message in any way. The Message is not deformed by the fact that people believe one thing or another.
